It’s easy to fall in love with Kensal Rise with its eclectic mix of modern designer flats as well as Edwardian and Victorian houses. Kensal Rise is superbly positioned, with the Bakerloo line tube station whisking you to central London in 15 minutes, whilst the Overground network will take you to Clapham Junction, Richmond and Stratford.

I love the access to open spaces too, with Queen’s Park and Paddington Recreation Ground a short walk away, and the buzz of Portobello just across the canal.

I’ve enjoyed many a night out at Paradise by Way of Kensal Green, devoured a magnificent Sunday roast in Parlour, and of course just down the road is Queen’s Park Alice House, a delightful pub where I also used to enjoy toddler music classes with my girls.
